BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER II (1 POST) @ MUHIMBILI UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH AND ALLIED SCIENCES (MUHAS)
The Business Development Officer II will play a pivotal role within the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) Business Development Unit (MBDU). This position is designed to provide high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient execution of various business development and investment activities. The officer will be responsible for managing complex schedules, handling official correspondence, and maintaining rigorous documentation systems to support the university's institutional sustainability goals and revenue generation initiatives.
Key duties include coordinating workshops and investor forums, facilitating both internal and external communications, and tracking critical action points to ensure timely follow-ups. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to prepare professional reports, presentations, and proposals that drive commercialization initiatives. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Development Planning, or related field
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in administrative or business support roles
Must be a Tanzanian citizen below 45 years of age
Possession of relevant academic and professional certificates
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage schedules, correspondence, and official records
Experience in coordinating meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements
Expertise in maintaining documentation and professional filing systems
Capability to support the preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations
Experience in handling office logistics and tracking action points
