SHOP MANAGER @ MAPESSA INTERTRADE LTD
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shop Manager to lead our retail operations in Mbeya. As Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the shop, including driving sales, managing inventory, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a dedicated team. Your leadership will be key in creating a positive shopping experience and achieving sales targets for our activated carbon products and related offerings.This role demands a highly motivated individual with a strong retail background and a passion for customer engagement. You will oversee all aspects of daily operations, from staff scheduling and training to merchandising and sales promotion. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering a productive work environment and implementing strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Shop Manager or retail management experience
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent customer service and sales abilities
Ability to manage inventory, merchandising, and store operations
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to achieve sales targets and manage budgets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of retail best practices and consumer trends
Ability to train and motivate staff
