PROGRAMS & GRANTS COORDINATOR @ MANLUKU YOUTH DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES - TANZANIA (MYDIA-TZ)
The Programs & Grants Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's mission by providing technical support and coordinating the programs team. This includes strategic planning, budgeting, implementation, and rigorous monitoring and evaluation of various youth-focused projects. The incumbent will be responsible for researching and writing grant proposals, managing donor relationships, and ensuring strict compliance with all donor reporting requirements, templates, and timelines.
Furthermore, the coordinator will focus on partnership development by mapping and engaging with key organizations that align with MYDIA-TZ's mission. The role also involves representing the organization in external financial management meetings, workshops, and networks. This is a full-time volunteer position based in our Kasulu office, Kigoma, Tanzania, requiring 40 hours per week.

Key Requirements
Degree in Project Planning & Management, Community Development, Education, Economics, Public Health, or related fields
At least two years of previous volunteer experience within a similar organization, preferably working with NGOs/INGOs
Proven track record of managing organizational or project budgets
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven team building abilities
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Good writing skills, time management, and excellent attention to details
Masters Degree in a relevant field is considered an added advantage
Experience in strategic planning and implementation
Strong understanding of donor reporting and compliance
Ability to represent the organization professionally in external networks
