SALES & DISTRIBUTION DIRECTOR @ LYCAMOBILE
Lycamobile is seeking a visionary and dynamic Sales & Distribution Director to join its executive team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping national sales strategies, optimizing diverse distribution channels, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious growth targets for mobile and mobile money services. You will focus on driving subscriber acquisition, usage, and retention while identifying new business opportunities and alliances to enhance market penetration across the country. The successful candidate will manage distribution networks including direct sales, retailers, and wholesalers, ensuring effective stock management of SIM cards and mobile money float. Additionally, you will be responsible for financial management, including budgeting and forecasting, to ensure profitability and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a leader who can provide deep market insights and develop innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
10+ years of experience in sales and distribution management.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing successful sales strategies.
Extensive experience within the telecommunications industry.
Deep understanding of mobile money services and agent network optimization.
Ability to develop and implement national sales strategies.
Proficiency in market analysis and competitive intelligence.
Strong leadership skills to mentor and manage a high-performance team.
Experience in managing sales budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
