Lindi Graphite Technology Ltd is seeking a qualified and motivated Safety Officer to join its team and contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing health and safety protocols across our operations, ensuring that all activities align with industry standards and government regulations.
As a key member of the site operations team in the Lindi Region, you will monitor workplace conditions, conduct safety training sessions, and maintain detailed compliance records. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Must be a fresh graduate.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA requirements and Tanzanian labour laws.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Computer literacy, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work and reside in Lindi Region, Tanzania.
Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
Ability to conduct site safety audits and incident investigations.
