EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR @ KPMG EAST AFRICA
The Executive Director will provide visionary strategic leadership to a leading not-for-profit health organization in Tanzania. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for strategic direction, operational excellence, organizational sustainability, resource mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of the organization’s long-term objectives.
The role will also strengthen the organization as a centre of excellence in health programme implementation, policy advocacy, technical assistance, research, knowledge generation, and capacity building across Tanzania and the region. The incumbent is expected to lead large-scale health initiatives and represent the organization at the highest levels of governance.

Key Requirements
Master’s Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine, Life Sciences, or Health Economics.
PhD is an added advantage.
At least 15 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in public health.
At least 5 years of experience at executive level.
Proven experience leading complex organizations in health programmes or research.
Strong experience in organizational governance and financial oversight.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage strategic partnerships.
Experience navigating financial and public-health challenges.
Strong understanding of Tanzania’s health systems and building blocks.
Proven record of organizational transformation and performance improvement.
