IN-HOUSE COUNSEL @ KILIMALL
Kilimall is seeking a dedicated and experienced In-House Counsel to join our dynamic legal team based in Nairobi along Mombasa Road. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our e-commerce operations comply with all local laws and regulations in Kenya. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support, ranging from contract management and negotiation to advising on strategic business initiatives and ensuring the highest corporate governance standards are met throughout the organization.

Key Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
Admission to the bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law or an in-house legal department.
Comprehensive knowledge of Kenyan labor laws, consumer protection, and data privacy regulations.
Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to provide sound legal advice on a wide range of business and operational issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Previous experience in the e-commerce, retail, or tech industry is highly desirable.
Possession of a valid Practicing Certificate for the current year.
