ASSISTANT BRAND MANAGER - EAST AFRICA @ KETH AFRICA
This Assistant Brand Manager role manages brand activities for Edrington brands across Tanzania as part of a broader East African portfolio. The position contributes to the management, planning, and delivery of local brand strategies, working in tandem with the Brand Manager and regional management teams. By collaborating with local distribution partners in Tanzania, the role ensures that marketing execution aligns with the strategic objectives of the East and Central Africa division.
The role involves high-level coordination with Education Teams and Senior Area Management to enhance brand visibility and performance in the Tanzanian market. As part of a regional team, the candidate will also support activities in Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique, and Rwanda. The focus is on executing delivery-oriented brand strategies that resonate with local consumers while maintaining the prestige of the global brand portfolio.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in brand management or assistant brand management within the East African market.
Strong understanding of marketing strategies and execution in the FMCG or beverage industry.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple brand activities simultaneously.
Proficiency in data analysis and market research to drive brand growth.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work closely with distribution partners across Tanzania and the wider region.
Experience in managing marketing budgets and ensuring ROI on brand activations.
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to address regional market challenges.
Willingness to travel across East African regions as required for brand monitoring and execution.
