ASSISTANT BRAND MANAGER - EAST AFRICA @ KETH AFRICA
The Assistant Brand Manager for East Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya, plays a pivotal role in driving the presence and success of Edrington brands across the region. Reporting directly to the Brand Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing brand activities across a diverse geographical footprint including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, and Rwanda. This role requires a strategic thinker who can contribute to the management, planning, and execution of local brand strategies while ensuring alignment with global brand standards.
This position involves close collaboration with Senior Area Management teams, Education Teams, and strategic distribution partners within East and Central Africa. The role focuses on delivering high-impact marketing activities and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of brand objectives. The candidate will monitor market trends and consumer behavior in the specified regions to refine strategies and maximize brand performance. Work locations and regional focuses include major hubs within Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, and Rwanda.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in brand management or assistant brand management within the East African market.
Strong understanding of marketing strategies and execution in the FMCG or beverage industry.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple brand activities simultaneously.
Proficiency in data analysis and market research to drive brand growth.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work closely with distribution partners across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, and Rwanda.
Experience in managing marketing budgets and ensuring ROI on brand activations.
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to address regional market challenges.
Willingness to travel across East African regions as required for brand monitoring and execution.
