This pivotal role involves leading sales efforts for a diverse range of products including Structural Steel, Reinforcement Bars, Roofing Materials, Cement & Building Materials, Pipes & Fittings, Gypsum Boards & Ceiling Systems, Tiles & Sanitaryware, Doors & Windows, Paints & Finishing Materials, Hand & Power Tools, Home Improvement Products, and Home Appliances. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding Kamaka's presence and impact within the construction sector, particularly across East African markets.The core responsibilities of the Project Sales Manager will involve identifying and securing new construction and industrial projects, fostering robust relationships with key stakeholders such as contractors, consultants, architects, developers, and project owners. This role demands a proactive approach to promoting Kamaka's complete construction solutions, from foundation to finishing, conducting regular site visits, and diligently managing project pipelines to ensure consistent achievement of monthly and annual sales targets. Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of proven project sales experience in construction and building materials.
Experience working within East African markets.
Strong network with contractors, consultants, architects, developers, and project owners.
In-depth knowledge of construction projects from foundation to finishing.
Demonstrated strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proven business development skills.
Ability to secure and manage large-scale projects effectively.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong aptitude for identifying and securing new construction and industrial projects.
Excellent relationship-building skills with key stakeholders.
