HR SPECIALIST (8 POSITIONS) @ IRIS
We are expanding our team and looking for 8 dedicated HR Specialists to join our office in Zanzibar. These roles are essential for the daily operations of our HR department, focusing on providing specialized support in areas such as recruitment coordination, employee onboarding, and personnel record management. Candidates should be energetic professionals who are eager to contribute to a growing team and possess a strong foundation in human resources practices.
The HR Specialists will play a key role in the full employee lifecycle, from initial contact to offboarding. You will assist in drafting job descriptions, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews, as well as maintaining accurate employee data within our systems. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you can develop your skills across multiple HR functions while supporting a large-scale operation in Zanzibar. Key Requirements
Degree in Human Resource Management or a related social science field.
At least 3 years of experience in an HR specialist or generalist capacity.
Strong understanding of general HR policies and procedures.
Familiarity with HRIS and digital attendance tracking systems.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle high volumes.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience in coordinating staff training sessions and induction programs.
Meticulous attention to detail for data entry and records maintenance.
Solid understanding of local employment standards and benefits administration.
