PROCUREMENT OFFICER @ INSPIREHR
The successful candidate will ensure timely sourcing of quality products, maintain optimal stock levels, build strong supplier relationships, and support efficient supply chain operations. This role is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services at competitive prices, as well as preparing and processing purchase orders. The Procurement Officer will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating stock replenishment based on demand and sales trends. Collaboration with various internal teams such as warehouse, sales, finance, and logistics is crucial to ensure smooth operations and compliance with procurement policies and quality standards.

Key Requirements
Bachelor
’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Professional certification (PSPTB, CIPS, CPSP, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years
’ experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office.
Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and contracts.
Understanding of supply chain best practices and quality standards.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supply chain challenges.
