SALES MANAGER/BDM - PETROCHEMICALS @ INDUS ITC
This role involves overseeing the sales and marketing functions for chemicals and solvents in the Ghanaian market, specifically focusing on Tema and surrounding industrial hubs. You will be tasked with identifying business opportunities in sectors like ink manufacturing, paint and coatings, and the agrochemical industry. The position requires a high level of market research and the ability to negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with local trade and environmental laws.
Beyond basic sales, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain flow, including overseeing sea shipments and coordinating with customs authorities. You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new accounts. The role also requires preparing comprehensive sales reports and resolving customer issues through investigation and recommendation to upper management.

Key Requirements
Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Ghana.
Technical Degree or Chemical Engineering degree.
MBA, International Business preferred.
8 to 15 years of experience in similar industry sales.
Fluency in English and local languages.
A valid driving license is mandatory.
Significant experience in handling raw material marketing.
Knowledge of Ghanaian port and customs regulations for chemicals.
Strength in supply chain functions and SEA shipments.
Demonstrated success in B2B sales and market analysis.
