As a Sales Manager in the petrochemicals sector, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in international markets. This involves conducting thorough market research to analyze global trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities. You will lead sales efforts, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with company objectives while adhering to local regulations, trade laws, and environmental standards.

In this role, you will manage a variety of solvents and chemicals for diverse industries such as paint manufacturing, printing, packaging, and cosmetics. Your responsibilities will include servicing current customers, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts. Additionally, you will be expected to resolve customer complaints, manage the sales pipeline, and monitor competitor pricing and delivery schedules to maintain a competitive edge.

Key Requirements

Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the UAE. Technical Degree or Chemical Engineering degree. MBA, preferably in International Business. 8 to 15 years of experience in the Petrochemicals or Chemicals industry. Fluency in English and the local language. Must possess a valid driving license. Proven experience in marketing solvents and raw materials. Knowledge of government procedures and policies for chemical sales and customs. Experience in supply chain functions including SEA shipments and demand projection. Ability to handle B2B sales and negotiate complex tenders.
