SALES MANAGER-BDM-LUBRICANTS @ INDUS ITC
This strategic role focuses on the development of the lubricant and base oil market in Cote d'Ivoire, particularly based out of Abidjan. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving B2B export sales of recycled and virgin base oils, lubricants, and oilfield chemicals. You must possess an established network of contacts among major importers and distributors in West Africa to facilitate rapid market penetration and growth.
French language proficiency is mandatory for this role to effectively communicate with local stakeholders and government officials. You will oversee export documentation and ensure all shipments meet local regulatory and port requirements in Abidjan. This role requires a proactive professional capable of working independently and traveling frequently to manage regional accounts and expanding dealer networks across the West African markets.

Key Requirements
Technical Degree / Chemical Engineering plus MBA preferred.
8-15 years of experience in the Lubricants or Oil industry.
Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
Previous travel experience and market knowledge of Cote d'Ivoire.
Proven ability to identify and develop strong dealer networks.
Expertise in French-speaking West African market dynamics.
Familiarity with export documentation and customs in West Africa.
Strong negotiation skills and professional initiative.
Ability to travel up to 70% of the time for business development.
Valid driving license and technical product knowledge.
