SALES MANAGER-BDM-LUBRICANTS @ INDUS ITC
This role is fully focused on Export B2B Lubricant Sales across South Africa and the broader African continent. The candidate must be highly experienced in selling lubricants, recycled base oil, and virgin oil to African markets, with deep connections to major importers and distributors. The main responsibility is to identify, develop, and manage strong dealer networks in African countries. This position carries responsibility for sales, business development, channel expansion, and product P&L management.
The role involves extensive travel to maintain customer relationships and oversee market expansion. You will be responsible for coordinating with shipping agents, transporters, and customs teams to ensure the smooth execution of orders and delivery schedules. Prior experience in the South African market and knowledge of local trade regulations are highly valued for this senior-level business development position.

Key Requirements
Technical Degree or Chemical Engineering background.
MBA in International Business preferred.
8 to 15 years of experience in Lubricants, Base Oil, or Raw Materials.
Proven track record of sales growth in African markets.
Deep connections to major lubricant importers and distributors.
Extensive knowledge of export documentation and customs rules.
Proficiency in English and French (French mandatory for certain markets).
Ability to travel frequently (up to 50-70%) within the region.
Strong negotiation and communication skills for B2B environments.
Valid driving license and a high level of independence.
