OFFICE & ADMIN MANAGER – SCHOOL @ HSD-MELT
We are seeking a proactive Office & Admin Manager to oversee the administrative functions of a school in Tanzania. This role is vital for ensuring the daily operational efficiency of the educational facility, managing everything from student records and staff scheduling to facility maintenance and vendor management. You will serve as a central figure in the school's administration, coordinating between parents, teachers, and school board members.
The successful candidate will manage the school office team, handle petty cash and procurement, and ensure that the facility remains safe and well-maintained. You will also be responsible for organizing school events and ensuring that all administrative procedures comply with educational regulations. This role requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting an educational environment.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in office management, specifically within an educational institution.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and school management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
Proven experience in facility management and overseeing building maintenance.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience in managing vendor relationships and handling procurement processes.
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality regarding student and staff records.
Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and mentor administrative support staff.
Strong customer service orientation for effective interaction with parents and visitors.
