HR DIRECTOR @ HSD-MELT
HSD-MELT is recruiting a strategic HR Director to oversee our human resources operations in Tanzania. This executive role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our corporate goals and support the rapid growth of our workforce across various sectors. You will be responsible for talent acquisition, organizational development, and the management of employee relations at a senior level.
The HR Director will also lead the design of compensation and benefits structures, performance management systems, and succession planning initiatives. By acting as a key advisor to the executive team, you will ensure that the company remains an employer of choice while strictly adhering to all local labor laws and regulations. Key Requirements
Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, MBA, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Deep expertise in Tanzanian Labor Laws and employment regulations.
Proven track record in developing and executing HR strategies in a corporate environment.
Strong experience in organizational design and change management.
Expertise in talent acquisition for executive and specialized technical roles.
Proficiency in HRIS platforms and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
Certification from a recognized professional body such as SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
