HEAD OF SALES – AUTOMOTIVE & SPARE PARTS @ HSD-MELT
The Head of Sales for the Automotive & Spare Parts division at HSD-Melt will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence in Tanzania. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep industry knowledge to oversee sales strategies and manage a high-performing sales team. You will focus on building strong relationships with key accounts and identifying new business opportunities within the automotive sector.
In this position, you will analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales tactics and ensure competitive positioning. You will be expected to deliver consistent results against sales targets while improving customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. The role involves travel across Tanzania to meet with distributors and large-scale clients to secure long-term partnerships.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of sales experience specifically within the automotive or spare parts industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring sales professionals.
Extensive knowledge of the automotive market dynamics in Tanzania.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a focus on high-value contracts.
Ability to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and budgets.
Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
Superior communication and presentation skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the country.
