HEAD OF HR @ HSD-MELT
HSD-Melt is looking for an experienced and strategic Head of HR to lead our human resources department in Tanzania. This senior leadership role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that support our business goals while fostering a high-performance culture across the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with local labor laws.
As the Head of HR, you will partner with executive leadership to design workforce plans that ensure the company has the right talent to meet future challenges. You will lead initiatives related to organizational development, employee engagement, and professional training. This is a critical role for ensuring operational excellence and maintaining a positive work environment within our growing team in Tanzania.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Head of HR or in a senior HR management role for at least 10 years.
Deep understanding of Tanzania labor laws and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Experience in implementing HRIS systems and data-driven HR metrics.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Expertise in talent management, succession planning, and employee retention.
Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Professional certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
