HEAD OF COMMERCIAL (AUTOMOTIVE) @ HSD-MELT
We are looking for a Head of Commercial to join our Automotive division at HSD-Melt in Tanzania. This role is focused on maximizing the commercial performance of the company through effective pricing strategies, contract management, and market expansion efforts. You will be responsible for overseeing the commercial lifecycle of our automotive products, from procurement and supply chain coordination to end-user delivery.
The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to identify and exploit market opportunities while mitigating commercial risks. You will act as a key advisor to the executive team on financial performance and market positioning. This position requires a blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and strong operational knowledge of the automotive industry in East Africa.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related commercial field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong financial literacy and experience in budget management and P&L oversight.
Proven ability to negotiate high-stakes contracts and manage vendor relationships.
Expertise in market analysis and competitive strategy development.
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Deep understanding of supply chain and logistics within the East African context.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to drive business growth through innovative commercial solutions.
