The Country Manager (Retail) will oversee all retail operations within Tanzania, ensuring that business objectives are met through effective leadership and strategic planning. This role involves managing the overall profit and loss, driving sales growth, and maintaining high standards of customer service across all retail outlets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong local team, identifying market opportunities, and implementing corporate strategies adapted to the Tanzanian market. You will collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and brand consistency throughout the country.

Key Requirements
Extensive leadership experience in retail management.
Proven track record in strategic planning and execution.
Experience in P&L management and budgeting.
Strong market analysis and competitive intelligence skills.
Proven team management and talent development experience.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Fluency in English and Swahili is required.
Ability to adapt corporate strategies to the local Tanzanian market.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
