The Sales Supervisor for Rice Products will be responsible for overseeing the distribution and sales operations within the Mwanza region. This role involves managing a dedicated sales team, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring that sales targets are consistently met. The supervisor will work closely with distributors and retailers to maintain strong relationships and ensure product availability across the market.
In addition to sales oversight, the candidate will be expected to provide regular reports on market trends, competitor activity, and stock levels. The role requires a candidate who is deeply familiar with the FMCG sector, specifically rice products, and can drive growth through strategic planning and effective team coaching. The position is based in Mwanza, Tanzania, and requires a proactive approach to business development.

Key Requirements
Proven experience specifically in rice sales or closely related FMCG products
Strong leadership and team management skills to drive sales performance
Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory sales role
Ability to analyze market trends and provide actionable insights
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for sales reporting
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Mwanza region
High level of integrity and professional accountability
Deep understanding of the local market landscape in Mwanza
