The OTR Sales Manager for Tanzania will be tasked with expanding the market footprint of our Off-the-Road tyre products. This role requires a professional who is adept at managing diverse dealer networks and high-value accounts in the extractive and infrastructure industries. You will act as a technical consultant, ensuring that clients receive the best tyre solutions for their specific operational needs.

Key duties include the development of a robust sales pipeline, dealer training, and the implementation of strategic marketing initiatives. As this is a consultancy-based role, the manager must be highly organized and capable of driving business growth with minimal oversight. You will focus on building brand loyalty and ensuring that the company’s product value proposition is clearly communicated to all stakeholders.

Key Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in OTR (Off-the-Road) tyre sales. Proven track record in dealer and key account management within the automotive or heavy machinery sector. Strong understanding of the OTR tyre market and technical product specifications. Ability to work effectively under a consultancy contract framework. Proven ability to meet and exceed ambitious sales targets in a competitive market. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence high-level stakeholders. Willingness to travel extensively within the country to visit clients and dealers. Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends and perform competitor analysis. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based setting. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for sales reporting.
