CORE MOBILE ENGINEER (6 POSITIONS) @ HALOTEL TANZANIA
Halotel Tanzania is seeking six dedicated and highly skilled Core Mobile Engineers to join their technical team in Dar es Salaam. The primary responsibility for this role includes Core Network service integration, comprehensive system management, and supporting the ongoing development and operations of the telecommunications network. The successful candidates will be tasked with executing integration designs, managing technical templates, and ensuring the seamless operation of network services to maintain high connectivity standards for customers.
The role involves working closely with a variety of network elements such as MSC, MGW, HLR, BSC, RNC, eNodeB, IMS, SGSN, GGSN, EIR, and SMSC. Engineers will be expected to collaborate effectively with both internal field teams and external vendors for equipment installation and commissioning. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining Core Network architecture, managing databases for NSS and PS systems, and participating in internal training to stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
Significant experience within the telecommunications industry is highly preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in Core Network service integration and system management.
Ability to prepare and manage detailed Design Templates (DT) for network systems.
Experience processing Work Orders (WO) specifically for service integration tasks.
In-depth knowledge of maintaining NSS and PS systems databases and architecture.
Technical expertise with network nodes such as MSC, MGW, HLR, and eNodeB.
Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to collaborate with vendors and field teams for hardware commissioning.
Commitment to continuous learning through internal training and self-study.
