Green Genesis Africa LTD is seeking five dedicated Cooks to join our catering team in Dar es Salaam. We are looking for three women and two men with a passion for cooking and a commitment to providing high-quality meals for our staff and visitors. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and serving food while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen environment at our Kisutu location.
The cooks will work together to plan menus, manage kitchen supplies, and ensure that all meals are prepared efficiently and presented well. Experience in a professional kitchen or catering service is preferred. Key Requirements
Proven experience as a cook or in a professional catering role
Deep knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to prepare diverse and nutritious menus
Hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen environment
Relevant culinary training or certificates in food production
Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced setting
Attention to detail regarding dietary requirements and portion control
Strong skills in kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Flexibility to work in shifts and during peak service times
