COUNTRY MANAGER @ GOLDCAVERN ASSOCIATES
Goldcavern Associates is seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead business operations and expand its presence in Tanzania. The successful candidate will oversee OTC trading operations before leading the company's transition into a fully licensed Payment Service Provider (PSP). You will be the primary point of contact for local regulatory bodies and strategic partners, ensuring our growth strategy is executed effectively while maintaining full compliance with local financial laws and standards.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
3–5 years of senior management or leadership experience
Direct experience in FinTech, Banking, or Payment Service Providers
Strong knowledge of Treasury and Liquidity management
Proven track record in business development and merchant acquisition
Deep understanding of AML/CFT and KYC regulatory requirements
Excellent negotiation skills with banks and key stakeholders
Experience in managing financial performance and budgets
Leadership skills to recruit and develop local teams
Strong ability to manage risk and navigate regulatory environments
