PROGRAMME AND ADMINISTRATION VOLUNTEER @ GLOBAL PEACE FOUNDATION TANZANIA
Global Peace Foundation Tanzania is seeking a dedicated Programme and Administration Volunteer to assist with critical programme implementation and office management. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain hands-on professional experience in the non-profit sector while contributing to peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and community development initiatives.
The successful candidate will be based in Mtwara and will play a pivotal role in organizing workshops, conducting community engagement activities, and maintaining accurate documentation. The volunteer will be responsible for field implementation efforts, monitoring and evaluation visits, and ensuring that all project reports and stakeholder data are meticulously managed and filed. This position is ideal for those passionate about social impact and eager to develop skills in project administration and community coordination.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Project Management, or a related social science field
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Kiswahili and English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to write professional activity reports and maintain accurate records
Must currently reside in Mtwara Municipality with the flexibility for field work
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with diverse community stakeholders
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle office logistics and filing
Commitment to peacebuilding and community empowerment values
Attention to detail in data collection and documentation of success stories
Ability to work effectively both in an office setting and during community field visits
