Gist Consulting is looking for an experienced Head of Operations and Administration to lead our internal management functions in Nairobi. This senior role involves overseeing daily operations, optimizing administrative processes, and ensuring that our business functions efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, and the management of administrative staff to achieve company goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business operations and a proven track record of leadership.
You will work closely with the CEO and other executives to develop and implement policies that improve operational excellence. Your duties will include budgeting, human resource management, and office facility oversight. Key Requirements
Three years of work experience in an operational or administrative leadership role.
Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing teams.
Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
Excellent financial management and budgeting experience.
Strong knowledge of human resource management practices.
Ability to optimize administrative processes and improve efficiency.
Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and reporting skills for executive interactions.
Proficiency in project management and office productivity software.
