COUNTRY MANAGING DIRECTOR @ GENIUS CONSULTANCY
Genius Consultancy is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and visionary leader to serve as the Country Managing Director for a leading organization in Tanzania. This high-level executive role involves providing strategic leadership and overall oversight of the organization's operations, focusing on driving business growth and enhancing stakeholder value. The Managing Director will be responsible for positioning the organization for long-term success by ensuring operational excellence across multiple diversified sectors including sanitation infrastructure, recycling, and the circular economy.
The successful candidate will lead departmental heads across Projects, Finance, HR/Admin, Operations, Technical, and Health & Safety. Key functions include developing and executing growth strategies, spearheading business development, and maintaining strong relationships with the Government, regulators, and strategic partners. The role requires a commitment to compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance requirements while providing transparent reporting and strategic advice to the Board of Directors.

Key Requirements
Master's Degree or Professional Qualification in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
Membership in a recognized professional body is highly preferred as an added advantage.
Minimum of 12 years relevant experience in diversified conglomerates.
Significant exposure in Sanitation Infrastructure, recycling, and circular economy sectors.
Experience in public infrastructure, support services, engineering, and manufacturing.
Broad industry knowledge in ICT, agri/agro sectors, and the mining industry.
Proven expertise in strategic leadership and driving business growth.
Demonstrated experience in operations management and financial oversight.
Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver measurable business results.
