Our client in the Clean Energy sector is actively seeking dynamic and driven Sales Officers for their expanding team in Tanzania. This pivotal role involves contributing significantly to the company's growth by driving B2B boiler sales within the steam division. We are looking for 10 dedicated professionals, and applications are welcome from both regional candidates and expatriates eager to make an impact in the renewable energy sector.

Key responsibilities include aggressively driving B2B boiler sales to secure orders and consistently achieve target quotas. The successful candidate will be instrumental in acquiring new customers, expanding market share from competitors, and actively exploring and penetrating new markets. You will also be responsible for delivering compelling technical presentations, collaborating closely with customers and engineers to develop optimal system solutions, and gathering crucial client feedback to continuously optimize sales and marketing strategies. Furthermore, the role involves training and mentoring junior team members on effective technical sales processes.

Key Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales engineering. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field (MBA is an added advantage). Solid understanding of industrial steam boilers. Strong B2B engineering sales acumen. Excellent negotiation skills. Outstanding communication abilities. Proven problem-solving capabilities. Results-driven mindset focused on achieving targets. Professional fluency in both English and Swahili.
