LUBRICANT SALES REPRESENTATIVE @ EXPERT CONSULTANCY
Expert Consultancy is seeking a dedicated Lubricant Sales Representative for their client based in Dar es Salaam. The primary focus of this role is to maintain and ensure consistent delivery of client customer commitments across the geographical area while achieving maximum sales profitability and account penetration within the lubricant market. The successful candidate will effectively sell the company’s products and value-added services while providing technical support to a diverse customer base. Key responsibilities include developing a robust customer pipeline, conducting market research, and delivering persuasive presentations to prospective clients. The role involves managing customer accounts, tracking payments, and ensuring compliance with credit policies. Additionally, the representative will liaise with technical services and training managers to meet customer demand and ensure stock availability across country depots and retail outlets. Salary: 3,500,000/= Gross Salary.
Key Requirements
Develop customer pipeline and determine potential using business directories and internet tools.
Research and assess customer requirements to provide tailored lubricant solutions.
Make telephone calls and visit in-person to conduct presentations to prospective customers.
Develop clear and effective written proposals including price quotes and contract terms.
Assist in lubricants training and preparing estimate bids for specific customer needs and tenders.
Ensure customer contracts are in place and maintained according to company and legal standards.
Monitor company and customer performance in terms of contractual obligations and service delivery.
Track account status daily and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payment collection.
Perform reconciliation of customer accounts and handle allocation of payments.
Liaise with Technical Services and Training Manager on production schedules and stock requirements.
