SALES ASSOCIATE (INDOOR) – CARPETS @ EXACTMAMPOWER
We are hiring a Sales Associate (Indoor) specializing in carpets for locations in Dodoma and Mwanza. The role involves assisting customers in-store, providing expert advice on carpet selection, and ensuring a high-quality shopping experience. You will be responsible for maintaining the showroom's appearance and managing sales transactions efficiently. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about interior design and possess strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. This role provides an opportunity to work in a growing retail environment across multiple regions in Tanzania, specifically targeting the Dodoma and Mwanza markets.
Key Requirements
Previous experience in indoor sales or retail, preferably in home decor or carpets.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to explain product features, benefits, and maintenance to customers.
Proficiency in basic mathematics for calculating areas and prices.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales is a plus.
Excellent verbal communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and move carpet samples.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Basic computer literacy for processing transactions and inventory.
