MANAGER – RETAIL LIABILITIES @ EQUITY BANK TANZANIA
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Retail Liabilities to oversee the growth of our retail deposit portfolio at Equity Bank Tanzania. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing strategies to attract and retain retail deposits, ensuring the bank maintains a healthy liquidity position and competitive market stance. You will work closely with the retail sales team to identify market opportunities and optimize product offerings for individual customers.
This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in retail banking and a passion for achieving ambitious growth targets. You will play a vital role in strengthening the bank's core funding base while delivering exceptional value to our retail customers across Tanzania. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or related discipline
Proven experience in retail banking and deposit mobilization
Strong sales management and team leadership skills
In-depth knowledge of liability products and retail market trends
Strong analytical skills to track and report performance metrics
Ability to develop and execute effective deposit-gathering strategies
Excellent customer relationship management and retention skills
Full awareness of compliance regarding KYC and AML regulations
Result-driven approach with a focus on achieving monthly targets
Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
