OFFICER - RECOVERY @ EQUITY BANK
The Officer - Recovery is responsible for managing non-performing assets and implementing strategies to minimize credit loss. You will work closely with delinquent borrowers to establish repayment plans and oversee the collection process in compliance with bank policy.
Your duties include monitoring overdue accounts, preparing recovery reports, and coordinating with legal and debt recovery agencies when necessary. You will maintain detailed records and ensure that all recovery efforts are conducted in a professional and ethical manner.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or Business Administration
Proven experience in debt recovery or credit control
Strong understanding of legal recovery procedures
Ability to handle difficult conversations and negotiations
Excellent analytical and documentation skills
Strong attention to detail in monitoring accounts
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of banking regulations regarding debt collection
Ability to prioritize multiple recovery cases
High level of integrity and sound judgment
