HSE OFFICER @ EPICBR
EpicBr is looking for a dedicated HSE Officer to join our HSEQ team within our Catering Services department in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating the implementation of HSEQ policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and various programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. You will play a critical role in enforcing compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements while assisting in the setting, tracking, and reporting of HSEQ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive organizational excellence.
In this role, you will also be tasked with implementing HSEQ awareness training for staff and contributing to continuous performance improvements across the board. Key duties include monitoring regulatory changes, assisting with food safety and quality management programs such as HACCP, and maintaining detailed HSEQ records. You will also be expected to support emergency responses and participate in both internal and external investigations and audits to maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Food/Environmental science, Chemistry, Health & Safety or related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in the HSEQ field, preferably from the hospitality industry.
Must be a trained practitioner in the HSEQ field with relevant certifications.
Excellent knowledge, skills, and best practices in HSEQ management systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective staff training.
Deep commitment to HSEQ as a core organizational virtue.
Ability to monitor and advise on complex HSEQ regulatory changes.
Proven experience with food safety and quality management programs including HACCP.
Proficiency in maintaining HSEQ records and generating comprehensive reports.
Experience in assisting with emergency responses and conducting safety audits.
