The Sales Coordinator is a vital role responsible for coordinating daily sales operations and supporting the sales team to achieve set targets within the manufacturing sector. Key responsibilities include processing customer orders, providing accurate quotations, and managing delivery schedules to ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires meticulous maintenance of customer databases, sales records, and CRM systems to keep all information up-to-date and accessible for the team. You will be expected to follow up with clients regarding their orders, deliveries, payments, and any inquiries they may have, ensuring a seamless customer experience. This position involves significant collaboration with the production and logistics teams to guarantee the timely delivery of products to various regions. You will also assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to support the sales efforts. Regular monitoring of stock availability and proactive communication regarding shortages to relevant departments is essential. This role offers opportunities to work across multiple regions in Tanzania, including Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, and Dodoma. A strong focus on administrative excellence and customer service is required to succeed in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
3 years of experience in sales within the manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of sales administration & customer service processes.
Proficiency in MS Office applications & CRM systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate daily sales operations and support team targets.
Experience in processing customer orders, quotations, and delivery schedules.
Skill in maintaining and updating customer databases and sales records.
Capability to prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
Expertise in coordinating with production and logistics for product delivery.
Experience assisting in sales presentations and marketing material preparation.
Competency in monitoring stock availability and communicating inventory status.
