SALES MANAGER (RSO) @ EIGHT CONTINENTS HOTELS AND RESORTS
Eight Continents Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Sales Manager for our Tanzania Regional Sales Office. This role is focused on the Dar es Salam Sales Office, specifically for selling properties such as the Signature Mafia Islands hotel and the Treetop Zanzibar Hotel. The candidate will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and identifying new business opportunities in the region. You will maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure customer satisfaction while representing our brand. Collaboration with internal departments like reservations, marketing, and operations is essential to align sales strategies with the overall business objectives. You will conduct thorough market analysis to stay ahead of competitor activities and identify emerging trends. This position is ideal for a motivated professional with deep roots in the Tanzanian market and a history of success in hotel RSO operations. Subregions covered include Dar es Salaam, Mafia Island, and Zanzibar.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
5+ years of sales experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Tanzanian citizenship or residency (Required for this location)
Proven track record in Hotel Regional Sales Office operations
Ability to develop strong relationships with local and international customers
Experience selling luxury properties like those in Mafia Island and Zanzibar
Strategic thinking for driving revenue growth and market share
Competence in cross-departmental collaboration with marketing and finance
Strong skills in market analysis and monitoring competitor activity
