SALES MANAGER (RSO) @ EIGHT CONTINENTS HOTELS AND RESORTS
Eight Continents Hotels and Resorts is recruiting for Sales Managers to be based in our Dar es Salaam Sales Office in Tanzania. There are two primary focuses for these roles: selling the Signature Mafia Islands hotel and the Treetop Zanzibar Hotel. This position is strictly open to Tanzanian candidates who possess a thorough knowledge of the local and regional hospitality market. Candidates must be stationed in Dar es Salaam to effectively manage these regional sales efforts.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue through proactive sales initiatives and building robust relationships with key stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with hotel operations, reservations, and marketing teams to ensure all sales activities align with the company's broader business goals. Your role involves constant market analysis to identify growth areas and resolving any customer concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
Minimum of 5 years of professional sales experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extensive Hotel RSO experience in the African market
Must be a Tanzanian national
Ability to drive sales specifically for island and treetop hotel properties
Strong understanding of the hospitality landscape in Tanzania
Experience in analyzing competitor activity within the region
Demonstrated ability to resolve customer concerns effectively
Motivated, well-organized individual with strong prospecting skills
