EUROPEAN SALES MANAGER – TRAVEL TRADE @ EIGHT CONTINENTS
Eight Continents is looking for a dynamic and well-connected European Sales Manager to lead our Travel Trade efforts across Europe, specifically focusing on promoting our luxury destinations in Zanzibar and Kenya. As a key member of our international team based in France, you will be responsible for driving B2B partnerships and identifying strategic growth opportunities within the luxury travel segment. This role is ideal for a sales professional with deep roots in the European market and a passion for African hospitality.
The successful candidate will represent our brand at major trade exhibitions, conduct frequent sales visits to key partners, and maintain a high level of market intelligence. You will work closely with tour operators, travel designers, and DMCs to ensure Eight Continents remains a top choice for travelers headed to Kenya and Zanzibar. Key Requirements
Proven experience in hospitality or travel trade sales within the European market.
Strong existing European travel trade network including luxury travel designers and DMCs.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
Fluency in French is highly preferred for this specific location.
Based in France with the ability and willingness to travel extensively.
Ability to develop and expand B2B travel trade partnerships across various regions.
Demonstrated success in driving sales performance and market growth for international destinations.
Proficiency in conducting professional sales visits and networking at trade exhibitions.
Strategic mindset to identify new business opportunities and manage high-value accounts.
Strong analytical skills to perform market intelligence and competitor analysis.
Experience working with the Zanzibar or Kenya markets is a significant advantage.
