RECOVERY MANAGER - CREDIT @ ECOBANK
Ecobank is recruiting a Recovery Manager for our Credit department to manage and optimize the recovery of non-performing loans. The successful candidate will design and implement effective recovery strategies to minimize credit losses and improve the bank's asset quality. You will work closely with legal and credit teams to ensure timely and effective debt collection. This role is based in Tanzania, Dar es Salaam.
In this role, you will also be responsible for monitoring the loan portfolio, identifying potential risks, and engaging with clients to negotiate settlement plans. As part of a leading Pan-African bank, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial stability and supporting the growth of the Tanzanian economy through sound credit management practices.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Significant experience in debt recovery and credit risk management.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Knowledge of legal procedures related to debt collection in Tanzania.
Ability to analyze financial statements and assess repayment capacity.
Proficiency in credit management systems.
Strong ethical standards and professionalism.
Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict recovery targets.
Strategic planning skills for non-performing loan management.
