PROJECT CONTROLS INTERN (HR/PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION) @ EAST AFRICAN CRUDE OIL PIPELINE (EACOP)
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project is offering a Project Controls Intern position with a focus on HR/Public Administration, based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This internship is designed for individuals seeking to understand how project controls are applied within the context of human resources and public administration in a major energy project. Interns will assist with various aspects of project planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance monitoring, specifically as they relate to HR and administrative functions. This role provides unique exposure to the intersection of project management and administrative oversight, offering a comprehensive learning experience in managing large-scale project resources and compliance. It’s an ideal opportunity to develop analytical and organizational skills vital for project success.
Key Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree program in Project Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and potentially MS Project
Excellent organizational and planning abilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to assist with data collection and analysis for project reporting
Understanding of basic project management principles
Eagerness to learn about project controls within an HR/Admin context
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
