BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEAD (FINTECH / PAYMENTS) @ DIGICASH
DigiCash is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Lead to join our growing team in Dar es Salaam. In this role, you will be responsible for converting qualified business opportunities into sustainable, long-term partnerships through proactive engagement and strategic negotiation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our commercial objectives are met and that we continue to provide value to our partners in the rapidly evolving fintech sector. This position requires a strategic thinker who can identify market trends and leverage them to create scalable commercial relationships.

Key Requirements
Proven experience in business development or sales within the fintech or payments industry.
Strong understanding of the Tanzanian fintech ecosystem and local regulatory landscape.
Excellent relationship management and strategic partnership building skills.
Ability to drive commercial growth and manage high-value sales cycles effectively.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work with product and operations teams.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Professional communication and presentation skills in both English and Swahili.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and qualify new market opportunities.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets and performance KPIs.
