OPERATIONS MANAGER @ DAR GYMKHANA CLUB
Dar Gymkhana Club is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of the club located in Dar es Salaam. The role involves optimizing organizational processes, managing staff performance across various departments, and ensuring that all club operations are carried out in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The Operations Manager will work closely with the General Manager to implement strategic initiatives that enhance member satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating between different service areas, managing physical resources, and ensuring strict compliance with safety and health regulations. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to think critically to solve operational challenges within the fast-paced and prestigious environment of the Club. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role.
Deep knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management principles.
Familiarity with business and financial principles including budgeting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership ability to manage diverse teams.
Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.
Experience in vendor management and procurement processes.
Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as required by club events.
