AUDIT MANAGER @ BRIDGE TALENT GROUP
A leading international accounting firm with offices in the UK and Kenya is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join their dynamic team in Nairobi. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about financial integrity and excellence in auditing standards. The successful candidate will lead audit engagements, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and in compliance with both local and international regulations. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire audit process, from initial risk assessment to the final statutory audit reports. You will work closely with clients to manage their expectations and provide valuable insights into their financial operations. The gross salary for this position ranges from KES 200,000 to 300,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of professional audit experience.
Previous experience working in a recognized audit or accounting firm is highly preferred.
Must hold a professional qualification such as CPA-K, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA or an equivalent designation.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and client management skills.
In-depth knowledge in audit planning, risk assessment, and statutory audits.
Specific experience with Kenyan statutory audits and KRA compliance is an added advantage.
Familiarity with accounting systems like Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for reviewing financial statements.
Ability to mentor junior audit staff and oversee team performance.
Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professional integrity in all audit procedures.
