BRANCH MANAGER – MWANZA BRANCH @ BOA TANZANIA
The Branch Manager for the Mwanza Branch at Bank of Africa (BOA Tanzania) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for steering the branch's financial success and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will focus on growing the bank's business footprint in the Mwanza region through strategic customer relationship management and the identification of new market opportunities. This position involves overseeing the full performance of the branch, including staff management, daily operations, and ensuring all activities align with the bank's long-term financial objectives and service standards. Key responsibilities include preparing branch budgets, implementing business strategies to ensure profitability, and maintaining high service delivery standards while adhering to statutory regulations. The manager will lead the retail sales team, coordinate weekly and monthly training, and represent the bank in corporate social responsibility initiatives to enhance brand visibility. Additionally, the role requires meticulous monitoring of commercial risks, debt collection, and credit application analysis to maintain a healthy and sustainable financial portfolio for the branch.
Key Requirements
An Advanced Diploma or Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Marketing.
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Banking Operations.
Good understanding of Banking Operations and Products.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office computer applications.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent analytical and interpretational skills for financial reporting.
Strong planning, organization, and execution skills for branch strategy.
