BestWesternDodoma is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Personnel to drive revenue growth and manage key client relationships. This role involves proactively hunting for new corporate clients, event planners, and group bookings while securing revenue for hotel rooms and conference spaces. You will be expected to conduct personalized property tours for prospective clients and create customized proposals and conference packages that highlight our superior facilities. The successful candidate will maintain a high response rate to all business leads and consistently seek out local hospitality trends to stay ahead of competitors in the Dodoma market. By building long-lasting relationships with corporate accounts and organizers, you will play a vital role in increasing the hotel's market presence and overall profitability. You must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate client meetings and site visits as required. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong sales background who is eager to contribute to the growth of a leading hotel in Tanzania's capital city.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably within the hotel or hospitality sector.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
Proficiency in English and Swahili (both written and spoken).
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate client meetings and site visits.
Experience in acquiring and developing new business accounts.
Ability to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of the local market trends in Dodoma.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines for proposal submissions.
