Best Western in Dodoma is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Personnel to join its professional team. The primary objective of this role is to drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing corporate accounts effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing bookings for hotel rooms, events, and conference spaces, ensuring that the property remains a top choice for clients in the region. The role demands a proactive approach to hunting for new corporate clients and event planners, as well as the ability to develop customized conference packages and sales proposals. Key duties include conducting tours for prospective clients, maintaining high standards of guest service, and providing timely follow-ups on all business leads. The candidate must stay updated on local hospitality trends and competitor offerings within the Dodoma market to maintain a competitive edge.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably within the hotel, hospitality, or events sector.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
Proficiency in English and Swahili (both written and spoken).
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate client meetings and site visits.
Proactively hunt for new corporate clients, event planners, and group bookings.
Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and event organizers.
Skill in conducting personalized property tours for prospective clients to showcase facilities.
Experience in preparing and delivering compelling, customized proposals and conference packages.
Ability to consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
