Azam Media Limited is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Dar es Salaam. The primary focus of this role is to support the department in the implementation and coordination of performance management initiatives, training and development programs, and overall HR operational activities. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between the HR department and various business units, ensuring that HR strategies are effectively integrated into daily operations to drive organizational growth.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the performance appraisal process, coordinating learning and development programs, and ensuring compliance with Tanzanian Labour Laws. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, handling employee relations matters, and preparing comprehensive HR reports. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or Law.
A minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in Human Resources or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian Labour Laws and current employment regulations.
Demonstrated experience in performance management and employee appraisal processes.
Proven ability to coordinate training programs and learning and development initiatives.
Strong skills in HR administration, record-keeping, and documentation management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for handling employee relations.
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) qualification or a legal background is a significant advantage.
Professional HR certification is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure corporate environment.
