AVA GLOBAL CONSULTING is seeking a highly motivated Sales Consultant to join our tourism team in Arusha. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective safari travelers, managing inquiries through multiple channels including email, phone, and chat platforms to ensure a seamless booking experience.
You will be responsible for understanding complex client needs, crafting personalized safari itineraries, and converting inquiries into successful bookings through expert consultative selling techniques. Additionally, you will be tasked with building long-term client relationships to foster brand loyalty, repeat business, and positive word-of-mouth referrals within the competitive tourism sector.

Key Requirements
Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
Proven experience in sales and customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple inquiries
Proficiency in basic computer applications and booking software
Experience in the tourism or safari sector is highly advantageous
Ability to work under pressure to meet sales targets
Willingness to work flexible hours as required by tourism demand
Knowledge of major Tanzanian safari circuits and products
